For as long as I can remember, I’ve believed that every
child is born with a unique light waiting to be discovered.
My passion is creating spaces where children feel safe to
explore, create, ask questions, make mistakes, and grow
into exactly who they were created to be. With a background in early childhood education and years
of experience serving children and families, I’ve learned
that the most meaningful learning happens through
connection, creativity, play, and community. Whether we’re
planting gardens, creating art, dancing, exploring nature,
cooking together, or simply sharing conversations, every
experience is intentionally designed to teach lifeskills that
children will carry with them into adulthood—confidence,
communication, problem-solving, responsibility, leadership,
compassion, resilience, and a lifelong love of learning. Arise & Shine was created from the belief that education
should do more than prepare children for school—it should
prepare them for life. My goal is to help every child recognize
their value, discover their unique gifts, develop practical
skills, and build the character and confidence they’ll need to
thrive long after childhood. Every event, program, and creative experience is rooted in one
simple mission: to plant seeds of hope, nurture every child’s
potential, and help children not only discover the light within
themselves, but also recognize the light around them—and
understand how they can use their own unique light to
brighten the world wherever it is needed.
